I am no expert but I recently found a blog describing how to grow Rau om at home. The author says to keep the potted plant in a clear plastic bag so that it maintains a warm and humid atmosphere, in a bright but not too strong light. I do not have the blog sight for you right now but I think I found it by googeling Rau om. Last weekend I was in the city I was able to find some of the herb in a Vietnamese food store so I am trying to root some of it in a large glass jar with about four inches of water, and I have another piece in soil in a plastic bag. I hope it will work. I have not tried culantro because I have not yet found it. Good luck to you.
