All trees will drop their leaves sooner or later. Smaller, crispy leaves might be less noticable. Willow Oaks have this type of foliage and their roots flow over concrete curbs like lava. Lacey Oak, Q.laceyi is a smaller version of Willow Oak but is hard to find. Bald Cypress needles disappear quickly. It will have stalagmite "knees" in very wet places but not in average soils. Larger Crape-myrtles like 'Fantasy', 'Townhouse' and 'Natchez' produce shade with small leaves and small pods that shatter, unnoticed, into the grass or mulch. Chinese Pistache tree is another good medium size, fruitless shade tree.

i kinda like the chinese pistache tree but I would have to find out more about this tree. Have not seen it here in Malaysia before. But thank u again for the suggestions.
