Pomogranate tree not flowering

HI

I am Mani Nair from Mumbai. I got a pomogranate tree growing in a container. Sometimes there appears beautiful red flowers on my tree, but after few days it falls from the tree without frutification. I would be grateful if you let me know the reason and remedy.

Sorry, thre was a mistake, it is fruiting not flowering.

There are a mulitude of reasons this could be happening. Some quick thoughts. Infrequent watering can cause this issue. Aphids could also be an issue. How old is the pomegranate? My bet is the tree is not old enough to support fruiting at this time. If the tree is less than three years old this may be the problem. Yadda out.

My pomergranite tree took almost 5 years and only now there are a few small fruit on the tree.Initially there would be flowers and then it would fall off.I hope this helps
