curry leaf plant not growing

Posted by musica MD (My Page) on

I recently received a small plant with about 35-30 leaves from a friend...It started growing very well and then the friend recommended me to put it in a larger pot.
Ever since I have re-potted the plant it has stopped growing...It is still green but just does not produce new leaves.
I have it indoors close to the window with access to sunlight and I water it regularly. Any ideas why it would not be growing or what I should do?

Thanks

RE: curry leaf plant not growing

I cant speak for pots and relocation but when I got my curry leaf plant from market it had light green to yellow leaves. I planted it into the ground and it started growing but leaf colored amused me as it was still not dark green. Then I nuked it with rose fertilizer, 12-8-10 and that did the trick. green leaves need nitrogen and that did the trick for me and not only it went into growth spurt, it turned very dark green and is now looking very happy!
