I didn't know that curry leaf was a host to the insect that carries citrus greening disease, or huanglongbing. Evidently, shipments of curry leaves or curry leaf plants can be infected with the psyllid bug. When shipments of curry leaves are found to be infected, they are stopped from entering states like Texas and California that are trying to keep citrus greening disease from getting into citrus groves.
Should this make a difference in how one looks for curry leaf SEEDS or plants to grow? Evidently they've just identified citrus greening disease in south Texas. :-(

"The disease-carrying Asian Citrus Psyllid could spread throughout the state on citrus plants and close relatives of citrus such as orange jasmine or Indian curry leaves"
