Ginkgo nuts- storage and planting...

I have two pounds of "fresh" ginkgo nuts. Are they ok just in the fridge? How long will they keep like this?

Also (maybe the wrong forum) but can the leftovers be planted? There are more than enough for me to eat. Thanks!!!

Good link. Try storing in a jar and fill to cover with dry sherry.
