Thai Eggplant, can I plant seeds from one?

I purchased a package of Thai eggplant from our Asian market and I have to tell you we loved them! I saved one that has a lot of seeds and I would like to know if I can plant them? If you think they will grow where can I get planting instructions? I've never planted anything like this so I don't know the season for it or anything. I hate to see so many seeds go to waste!

Depends on whether or not, the variety is a hybrid. You can still plant them but they may produce different fruits than you expected. Culture is the same as for eggplants in general. Should do ok in Missouri. Thai varieties do tend to have a fairly long season so they need some heat.
