Please identify (Photos) these two types of ' Vietnamese Mint'

My friend gave me these two plants he called mint last summer and they have propigated very well. I would like to find their proper names (common names are fine). I'm just tired of calling them "mint".
Both are extreemly fragrent and have grown much larger that shown in this picture.
If anyone is interested in trade I'm looking for parrots feather (pond plant).

Don, The top picture is rau ram/Vietnamese: rau răm [Polygonum odoratum] and the lower picture is ngo-om/Vietnamese: rau ngổ or ngò-om [Limnophila aromatica]. Both like their feet rather wet. P odoratum is quite vigorous but the colder weather in Northern California should keep it in check. OtCay |

I lost my Vietnamese coriander in the recent cold (35 deg). They were in a basket on the s. side of the house out of the cold wind. Bummer! kevin |
