I am in zone 8. I bought this asparagus crown from lowe's in Jan and planted it in Feb on a sunny spot. It was doing so great. For a few weeks, it grew crazy. We got a snow last week and before the snow I covered the plant with a big bucket. I removed it after the snow milt. Today I just noticed that the top of two asparagus are wilting like drying out. However, I water them frequently. Also, I gave them a scoop of blood meal a couple weeks ago. why are they doing this? I am so worried. Do I need to give them more water?
