climber recomendation

I live in zone 10a (or b) and I want a climber, maybe 2 for a very sunny and hot place (in a protected corner looking south, average summer highs around 30 ºC).

I was thinking about a melon but I'm open to sugestions. It must be something edible, either the fruit or everything. If it's productive much better.

Bitter Melon, Snake Gourd, or Asian Yard Long Beans.

Is bitter melon bitter? How does it taste? I don't think I've tried it.

Thanks.

Yes, the name is directly derived from it's flavor. It is also excellent for diabetes because it helps maintain blood sugar levels naturally. I find that I crave it a few times a year.

Do a search of this forum for bitter melon, you'll find growing information and recipes in existing threads.
