The description on their website matches that of yardlong beans (Vigna unguiculata) - the 26" pods are a dead giveaway. Yardlongs are genetically climbing cowpeas, and should be treated as such. They should be planted in warm soil, around the same time as watermelons & limas.

I don't get the "cold resistant" comment; when I think of "cold resistant", I think of peas & cabbages. Yardlongs are heat lovers... cool resistant, maybe, and then only mature plants, and for short periods. I wouldn't plant them until night time temps are expected to stay above 50 F. degrees... and 60 F. (night) is better.
