Which Variety of Chinese Chives?

I'd like to plant some Chinese chives, but after looking online, I'm unsure which variety to get. We had some in a restaurant prepared whole (like asparagus would be) and they were delicious - as I recall, they had round stems and unopened tear-shaped flower buds on top.

I'm assuming what we had at the restaurant is different from the "garlic chives" you see in nurseries, but maybe I'm wrong? Any advice for a source to order seeds or plants?

I've never seen my husband enjoy a vegetable like he did the chives, so I'm hoping to track some down. Thanks!
