| Is anyone growing, or has ever cooked with the Mahaleb Cherry (Prunus mahaleb L.)? I have good success with growing cherry seeds, but the product sold in stores does not have an outer shell, helpful for protecting the seed during their long germination time. |

Wow, violet - Thanks! The sites give a history of the cherry & helps explain what it is. I had no idea it was used in Greek & other cuisines. I am still going through it, but your post is all-encompassing.
It would be nice if the stores sold the whole cherry instead of just the pit. Thanks |
