Running okra/vine okra, usually refers to the gourds Luffa cylindrica or Luffa acutangula (Chinese Okra). Both are fairly easy to find. Best selections of course are Asian vendors like Kitazawa http://www.kitazawaseed.com/seeds_gourd.html or Evergreen http://www.evergreenseeds.com/. Reimers, Parks etc also carry them. Luffa cylindrica is more commonly used as a mature fruit to make bath sponges. The immature fruits are used a vegetable.

u need 2-3 plants to start with....after that collect seeds from fruit and share with others....
keep growing our community.
