ichiban eggplant leaf color

i'm growing ichiban eggplant and after a few weeks outside some of the leaves are discolored. i looked up leaf discoloration (the veins stick out visually and it has a sort of metallic look), and it looks like a deficiency, but i'm not sure.

any ideas?

Other than a metallic look, what color are they?

I hope you say purple, because that would be normal for Ichiban. They have lots of intense purple in the veins and stems.

oh- the veins are purple and the leaves green. thats natural now, though. i added some fertilizer and things seem to be working out fine now. it was metallic and sorta yellowing before at the tips.
