Blue food dye from Malaysian flower??

| This may be a long shot but I wonder if anyone can help. When I was very young and lived in Malaysia, grandma used to cook a dessert using sweet glutinous rice and she would dye it a brilliant blue with a certain flower. Does anyone know what it is??
I think it might look a bit like a pea flower but it was definitely a source of blue edible colouring. |

| me_171, Just about all flowering plants require full sun as a general rule. So you'd need to be able to provide this inside. |
