How are the raw leaves?

What is your seed source & cultivar?

I'm wondering because someday I wish to try celtuce as a salad veggie. I have used peeled bolting stems of romaine lettuce as a celtuce-like raw veggie. Bolting stems of some lettuce cultivars are even mild enough to eat raw without peeling.

Is the skin of your celtuce cultivar bitter or mild?
