Care for Curry leaf plant

4 weeks ago I brought a curry leaf plant from Florida about 18" tall in a pot and have been taking due care I suppose. I see some black some white spots on the leaves and some leaves have developed some holes in them. I am worried that the plant does not look all that spirited as it looked when I brought it. It was taken off the ground and potted and it is still in the saem pot. I water it every three days.
The plant has not brought any new growth. I believe I need to trim it a bit for growth. How should I take care of it in San Francisco, CA any tips would be very welcome
