| I am having problems with my kabocha (Japanese pumpkin) plants. They are have grown and spread and are putting up plenty of flowers. Unfortunately all those beautiful flowers are male. I am wondering what I can do to promote some female flowers. |

| That is normal. Squashes often put out male flowers for some time, before the female flowers appear. Chances are, if you examine the ends of the vines closely, the female flowers are already beginning to develop. Just give them time. |
