RE: When to harvest eggplant?

Once the skin of the fruits begins becoming dull from shining and texture starts beginning little harder from soft is the right time to pick up the fruits. Both symptoms should be watched to begin with .If you wait longer then fruits will go for seeding and will be useless for consumption.Once you time this for first harvest check back after 5 to 7 days for the new crop.
