Ripe Tindora fruit.

| Since few years I am growing Tindoras this is the first time I saw a ripe Tindora fruit.I have posted this pic. in vegetable forum.However I thought it will be a good idea to give little more exposure to this beutiful red fruit.I am posting this pic. here to share with you.

| It is Coccinia grandis also known as English ivy and Tindora.We do not use it.Just we look at it with some curiocity.Some ethnic groups use ripe red fruit as vegetable.We use green fruits as vegetable and salad. Pic. of green fruits of Tindora.

| Neat! The red tindora looks nice. I've only seen and eatten the green fruits. Its used a lot in Indian cooking as a vegetable. |

Hi Chaman, Can you tell the best place to buy tindora--seeds or plant/vine. I am interested in growing tindora this summer. I know that we get this vine at 'Bhatia Nursery'--still want to know if you have a better place to get one. As always appreciate your response. Thanks A |
