Yard long beans

I have noted several references to yard-long or Asian yard-long beans. Does anyone know the correct and current BOTANICAL or LATIN name of this bean? It grows exceedingly well here in central Virginia and produces a load of beans.As far as I can determine, it has been placed in the genus Vigna, but I cannot seem to find the species name. Any information will be much appreciated.

Here you go:

Vigna ungiculata subspecies sesquipedalis

And, they are yummy! I started growing them a few years ago and love them. A must have, as far as I'm concerned.
