Year round brassicas in southern California

I'm curious to know what greens were successful for others during this last relative hot summer. I keep seeing new hybrids listed on some of the seed company websites that laud the ability to grow year round in southern California, and others that say year round in subtropics etc. I had pretty good luck with a hybrid "baby bok choy" that I have grown for a few years called Mei-Qing Choi. From three different sources, Johnny's, Agro Haitai and Evergreen, all have been productive. Where I have had the most trouble is timing the various Choy Sum's (green choy sum, yu choy, edible rape) labled as to days to harvest, like 40 day, 50 day, 80 day etc. I've been planting a 40 and an 80 day at 6 week intervals since Feb. and have had some cold bolting, hot bolting but not much in the way of succulent greens.
