Has any one had any experience growing black pepper vines (piper nigrum, piper kadsura, piper lolot)as a in door house plant? Sounds like a neat experiment. Can it be grown indoors in a pot? Any special requirements? Recommendations for sources to get a start? It’s too cold here to grow outside.

RE: black pepper vine

My mother keeps her black pepper plant in pots. All i know is that it doesn't like being wet. It's typhoon season here in the Philippines so its been cloudy and wet lately. As to being grown indoors, i think it a good idea as i'm sure it will surely die if you kept it outside.
