Chinese chive seeds...?

The Chinese chives in the yard just stopped flowering, and now there are seeds (I completely forgot about the...)? They look really shriveled up, and the ones still in the little "pods" are nice an round...are they supposed to be really shriveled up or are the open seeds already dead?

The black seeds are what you want as they have matured. A pic is helpful & you'd probably get a faster response in the future if you post one with your question.
