black futsu winter squash

hi,

i have another question, this is about black futsu winter squash. i grew it this year and have 12 nice squash. now i normally peel the skin off butternut squash and i either saute them in a fry pan or cook in a pot with a bit of water and then mash. black futsu squash is ribbed and it is really not possible to use a peeler on it. i seldom bake anything in the oven but it seems like i may have to as this may be the best way to cook these.

so does anyone grow this squash and how do you cook them?

recipies?

thanks,

tom

Bake just like butternut or acorn - add butter and maple syrup and eat - fantastic!!!!!
