Asian greens

I'm new to Asian cookery, hence also new to Asian vegetables, but would like to know more. The only one I have growing at present is Kangkong.

First question: What is the difference between Bok Choy and Pak Choy? Or are they the same? (I've had conflicting information in my web searches.)

Second question: What are the names (including botanical names if you know them) of some other Asian greens? Indeed, any Asian vegetable. Any information on how to grow and use them would be welcome. Even recipes would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Bok Choy and Pak Choy are the same thing - just different transcriptions of the Cantonese words for White vegetable.

The best book on Asian greens for Australian conditions is:

"Asian Herbs and Vegetables - How to identify, grow and use them in Australia" by Penny Woodward (published by Hyland House, 2000).

Although I haven't purchased from them yet, I just received their catalog & they have a good rating at the "Garden Watchdog" website:
