Hi, I live in Brisbane Australia and I think our weather is similar to yours in Florida, we live in a sub tropical zone, and we grow Chinese vegetables all year long , including tomatos etc. I used to live in a southern state with cold winters and had all sorts of problems growing out of season. I have very good success with hydroponically grown Chinese vegetables even out side covered from heavy rain etc under our roof eaves,
