Azalea buds but have brown spots on leafs

Azalea have brown spots on them they have buds .I included
a picture of what I mean. If I can get it to upload.

Could be many things. Too much or too little water. The soil moisture problem could have happened while dormant. The damage cold have been caused by late frosts too.
