Looking for a rhody to hide above-ground pool in 5b

I am trying to hide about a quarter of a fairly large above ground pool. Rhododendrons do well in our yard and I was thinking they might be good candidates for this. I'm looking for a rhodie that can tolerate a little extra sun and is dense and heavy low--so from the ground to 4'. It needs to be bushy to hide the charms of Mr. Swimming Pool.

Alternate ideas much appreciated. Rhodies are nice because I know they grow here, they're evergreen, and they tolerate a good deal. We have a Wilson, a bunch of PJMs, and some giants I can't identify.

Sorry if this is a 101 question--sometimes the internet is great because there's all this information, and sometimes the internet is overwhelming, because there's all this information.

Flower color isn't important, but given a choice, white would be nice.
