Rhodo emergency transplant in winter

Yesterday I had to have my rhododendron dug up to replace my sewer line. The plumbing company was very good to dig up a root ball and then put it back when they were done. I'm not sure what I should do to care for it and ensure that it will survive at this point. I just moved into this home in December so I don't know anything about how old the plant is or anything else about it. I've actually never had one at all before. I just know that winter is not the best time for moving plants.

I did search and the similar topics suggested not moving the plant in the winter time. However, that couldn't have been avoided in this case. Now that it is moved, does anyone know what if anything I should do for it? I had a suggestion that frequent watering will prevent shocking the plant. But since the ground is frozen I'm afraid to water it too much now. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
