Transplanting Rhodi in early bloom??

I have a grouping of 20 Rhododendrons and want to remove 10 of them to the other side of the bed. They're a low, mounding variety and are now about 18" high and about 24" wide.

The buds are just starting to open and I want to confirm that it's ok to go ahead and move them now or else I'll have to wait until the new leaf growth has matured.

I didn't see this specific question in the search results......so I apoligize if it has been covered before.
