Girard's Rose Azalea in most sun?

I sort of bought on an impulse today when I found beautiful looking Girard's Rose Azaleas at Lowes. I need something for a foundation planting that has winter interest/evergreen foliage and doesn't get taller than 3 feet or so. These seemed perfect and as a true southern girl, I always love an azalea. BUT it just occurred to me as I was looking them up - and I don't know why I had this lapse of judgement - I bought an azalea for a 100% sun southern exposure. It this going to be a disaster? Should I just return them now or trade them with my mother? Or will they be able to take the sun? They will be in a bed with irises, weigela and a black lace elderberry.

Thanks :\
