My Rhododendrums that looked dead

I have noticed that the buds are on part of this Rhody that I thought was dead . It was all curled up even in the warmer weather. This all happened I believe after the last freeze. Are they going to get better? The leaves look dead ,bud there are buds still on them.

A lot of people including myself are in the same situation as you. We are going to have to wait. Most rhododendrons open in May, so by June we should know what is still alive.
