| Please bear with me as I'm a newbie. We have(from previous home owners) 2 rhododendron, 2 azaleas, and 2 other shrubs I can't identify at this time.
I'm doing my best to get all the info I can on properly taking care of them. But could someone please post some photos on pruning/pinching????????? I know enough to get rid of the dead stuff but I am leary of doing this and afraid of possibly not taking enough off or removing something that should not have been removed to begin with. |

| Don't prune rhododendron or azaleas until after they bloom or you will be removing their flower buds. Then you can prune to control the height or to improve the shape. It is good to open them up so that they get good air flow. Don't prune them with hedge pruners. Usually little or no pruning is necessary. |
