Please bear with me as I'm a newbie. We have(from previous home owners) 2 rhododendron, 2 azaleas, and 2 other shrubs I can't identify at this time.

I'm doing my best to get all the info I can on properly taking care of them. But could someone please post some photos on pruning/pinching????????? I know enough to get rid of the dead stuff but I am leary of doing this and afraid of possibly not taking enough off or removing something that should not have been removed to begin with.
