| Please help me id this one. its from wal-mart, but its my first alzalea and im not sure which variety it is. any ideas on cutting this one? i pinched the new buds.... just not familiar with them.

| Hi, slyphish. Why do you need to prune this plant now? It seems fine and healthy on your photo... Normally, there is little need to prune azaleas other than to remove any dry/dead branches. All pruning and pinching should be done prior to mid-summer because that is when flower buds will begin to develop for next year. Luis |
