I have four Elsie Lee azaleas in a bed in my front yard. They are mixed in with azaleas of varying varieties and colors. Most of my other azaleas seem to be growing fine. The Elsie Lee's are younger than the other azaleas, but have been there about 3 years now. They don't seem to be growing as well as the others. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help them fill out more?
One of them is in almost full-sun, but the others are in part-sun or full shade. Also, the Elsie Lee's bloom later than my other azaleas, as I live in Georgia, and they are just now beginning to bloom. All of my other azaleas are "past peak" in blooming. Any advice and knowledge about this particular type of azalea would be greatly appreciated!
