moving very old azeleas

these 3 were here when I moved here,,3 dif colors..they r on the west side of a garage not getting much sun and they never bloom worth a crap..they could be anywhere from 5 to 100 years old I don't know..would they do better in full sun? well I'm moving them anyway since I have little to loose..I know to get as much root ball as I can...anything else? thnx

Depends how big they are. Anything can be transplanted with the proper tools but that depends on the ball, they can be hefty. If you have nothing to lose then give it a shot. If it were in the fall you could probably cut down the size of the ball, but since they are getting ready to leaf out try to take the ball out to the drip line of the plants and water thoroughly after backfilling and remember tamp down with the end of your shovel to get out the air pockets.
