Azalea & Rhododendron

help w/ identifing an azelea

Hello,

I am in Rhode Island an there is a shrub that is blooming now that I want to identify. I think it is an azelea but I'm not sure. This is one of the first plants that draws the hummingbirds. It is a shrub that has been around for a long time because there are large shrubs growing around older homes. It is red with hint of coral color. Does anyone know the name of this plant?

Not easily. Can you post pictures that show the shrub and then close ups of the blooms?

I am having trouble posting a picture. But today I learned that the shrub I am interested in is probably a flowering quince.
