My Encore Azaleas blooms pause about 1-2 months in between blooming episodes. They shuld be getting ready to bloom again in June-July. I suggest that you maintain a constant soil moisture, about 3" of any type of acidic mulch and, if you prune, do it right after blooming. You may also want to make sure that you do not have too much fertilizer high in nitrogen. If they are close to the lawn, make sure that the lawn fertilizer does not end near the shrub as lawn fertilizer can be very high in nitrogen.

And how much sun are they getting? They won't perform to their full potential with too few hours sun even in your warmer zone.

Thanks, these get good sunlight, not all day but definitely plenty of sunshine. I have never fertilized them after they bloom in the Spring. Maybe I will start putting down some blooming fertilizer after they finish blooming in the spring.
