Azalea & Rhododendron

Is this an azalea?

We are relatively new to our property and I've been confused by this plant all winter. It didn't have any leaves and was very twiggy. So, I waited until spring in the hopes of identifying it, the leaves came out and then the flowers, and it now looks like an azalea to me. Is it?

If so, any idea what kind it is?

There are many deciduous rhododendrons and azaleas. This is one of them, but it's impossible to tell which, at least by me, from the picture.
