| Hi, just saw a gorgeous purple rhodo called 'edith bosley' at the nursery. it said it was a vigorous grower! would love to make a rhodo hedge. BUT i don't know this plant. Anyone have it, grown it, have stories to tell about it??? hope so! thanks! |

| I have three of them and they are my favorites.... They are a very dark purple, just like "Purple Splendour," but much hardier to about -20F. The plant is a good grower, I don't know about vigorous, but it does make a nice dense shrub. I do not know what the ultimate size will be. In my opinion, the best purple. |
