I have three of them and they are my favorites.... They are a very dark purple, just like "Purple Splendour," but much hardier to about -20F. The plant is a good grower, I don't know about vigorous, but it does make a nice dense shrub. I do not know what the ultimate size will be. In my opinion, the best purple.
