Hardy Azalea?

Hello,

I am in the process of finding shrubs for my newly created flowerbeds at the front of my house.

Our local hardware store has some beautiful azaleas for sale. The exact type of plant is unknown, but they have white flowers. On the tag, it claims that they are hardy to -40 degrees... I have been researching azaleas on the internet, and could not find any reference to these cold-tolerant plants.

Does anyone know of azaleas hardy in zones 2b/3? I really would like to get a couple, but don't want them to just die over the winter.
