| I have three Rhododendrons in my back yard. One is totally dead and was discarded. One looks good with lots of flowers. The other one looks unhealthy: several flower buds and many yellow leaves. It has some new leaves now. The heavy snow in the last winter, bad soil or wrong location. The shrub site has full day sunshine from the morning to 4pm. Please find the pictures in the linked web. |

| Your link isn't showing, at least not for me. Depending on the variety, most rhododendrons should be OK in Portland in that much sun (with supplemental water) although they may suffer a bit until fully established. Try again with the link, and when were they planted? |
