plant being eaten by something?

Over the last few weeks I have noticed holes and brown marks on my plants. It's been pretty chilly here, unseasonably cool and wet. I did apply a little Hollytone the first week in May, but other than that haven't done anything else.

The holes at the edges were made a long time ago. The clue = the tan to brown edges.

The leaves w/large brown splotches suffered a water shortage last year.

The bites (notches) in leaves, while not freshly made, are typical of weevil. Not a heavy or troubling infestation with that slight amount of damage.
