Full StoryHi everyone,
I am hoping someone might be able to help me. I live in WA State, the moss capital of the country, and I have a Princess Royale Azalea that appears to be dying as a result of two types of moss that has started growing on it. I could not find instructions for how to post the pic of the mosses, so I put up a quick blogger blog and posted an image there. the link is below.
I really want to save this plant, as I have searched all over the Internet and cannot find them for sale anywhere, which leads me to believe they are pretty rare at this point. It is so beautiful and fragrant, it would break my heart to lose it.
Is there a way to kill the moss without killing the plant?
If I cannot kill the moss and need to replace the plant, if I were to get a good cutting and try to grow a replacement plant, would it also be infested with the moss?
Any help you can provide is most appreciated.
Thank you,
Vicki
