| I gave a drie potted rhododendron(president roosevelt) a gallon of miracle grow about 6 weeks ago and its killing it. The leaves immedietly started changing color and drooping and the flower buds rotted. Last week I watered it well put it in the shade and gave it miracid . It still is in a steady decline .Is there anything else I can do to save it? |

| Stop fertilizing it; no more MiracleGrow or MirAcid. Changing fertilizer doesn't help, it just makes things worse. They can live with no fertilizer. They die with too much fertilizer. Since both of these fertilizers are liquid fertilizers, thoroughly drenching it with lots of plain water in a well drained container is the best thing you can do. Make sure it is well drained. If the roots stay too wet too long, this will also kill it. It is best to wait until it starts to get on the dry side before watering. |
