using liquid organic fertilizers on azaleas

After repeatedly trying years ago to acidify the soil with sulfur, and using hollytone, with no great success, I've come to rely on miracid, which gives great results, but is slightly unwholesome. I'm using organics for the rest of my garden, trying to build the soil and microorganism activity, so I want to use those same products on my azaleas. The organic ferilizers tend to be low pH when mixed because of the natural preservatives. Would this low pH make it more usable by an acid-loving plant?

Thanks,

Ellen
