Zone 10 Question - Azaleas

Hi All. Please excuse my barging in here.

I have a good size area on the west side of the house that I am trying to get planted so I can use it as a sitting garden. It gets just a couple hours sun, lots of light, and it doesn't get real hot. I already have some plants that will be great here and would like to add some colorful azaleas.

The problem I'm having is finding any that are hardy in Zone 10. I know many will grow without lots of sun, and I see Azaleas and Rhod (sp) all over, but I don't want the same as everyone else.

Does anyone here live in So Calif or have any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you so much,

Gigi

Oh - I do have one Azalea. It's called "Bubble Gum", got it at Home Depot one year when it was in the "throw away" pile. It's in my entryway, doesn't get much sun, doesn't bloom much but stays green.
