What to do with azalea this fall?

I know that I am thinking ahead, but I have this lovely azalea in a pot on my porch. It bloomed twice, and has kept its lovely leaves. I can't put it in the ground because we have a lot of deer and they love these plants.
Can I keep it in my garage when the weather starts to chill?

A lot depends on what type or variety azalea it is and what your winter low temperatures are like. Florist azaleas can be brought into a cool part of the house for the winter. Other types can be wintered in a garage if the temperatures do not go so low as to kill the roots.
